Season: Winter

Tsukasa: Honestly, please do not put me together with you.
It is not exactly accurate to say I was outside. My hands only became cold because the archery range is open to the air.
Leo: Huh? Did we have archery club today? Well, I don’t really know the schedule anyway since I only show up sometimes.
Tsukasa: You are also part of the archery club, Leader. Please do not show up “sometimes”, but for every day of activities.
But either way, today is not a club activity day. It’s winter vacation, so we do not have classes or Dream Idol Festival— DreamFes, either.
And because we also do not have Knights practice today, I took the good opportunity to do some solo practice.
Leo: You really are so serious~
But I see. If the archery range is open, I could compose over there too.
The archery range has heated floors, but the winter wind comes in from outside and cools me down nicely.
Tsukasa: There’d be no point doing that if you caught a cold. You wouldn’t want to spend the rest of winter break in bed, would you?
Leo: That’s not necessarily the case! When my body gets cold, my consciousness starts getting fuzzy, but having a fever gives me the same experience. So in other words, it’s sustenance for my composing…☆
Tsukasa: Please do not say such stupid things. …Leader, it’s bad manners to keep flapping your legs about under the kotatsu.
You keep hitting my legs. It’s rather painful.
Leo: Complaining just when you finally wanted to use the kotatsu! You’re so annoying~
Ah~ but the kotatsu is the best. Don’t you think so, Suo~?
Tsukasa: I would not deny it. But now that there’s one in the studio, I feel it is chipping away at my will to move.
Well, it is a rare day off, after all… I suppose this kind of thing happens?
Leo: Yup. If you keep working your butt off every day you’ll get tired. Look, even I’m composing songs while having some tea and rice crackers.
Tsukasa: You’ll get the paper dirty. You said I’ll get tired if I work so hard, but does that mean composing does not count as work?
Leo: Mm~ it’s not a song for Knights, after all. And it’s not paid work either. The song I’m making right now is more just my hobby.
I saw a snowman, and inspiration started coming to me. So I’m calling it “Song for a Snowman”♪
Tsukasa: That’s all, I see. It is an appropriate title for someone who has little naming sense.
Was the snowman you saw, the snowman outside the school gates?
Leo: Yup. It hasn’t been snowing lately, so it was melting a little. Suo~, what do you think we should do to make it snow?
Tsukasa: Huh? How am I supposed to respond to that? It should snow if the temperature drops, right?
Today is rather warm for a winter day, so if it started to snow, it might change into rain partway down.
The forecast for tomorrow predicted snow, so please be patient until then.
Leo: Nghh… the weather forecast isn’t so reliable, you know. A few days ago, it said today was supposed to snow, right?
But there isn’t a flake of it out there. It’s a clear, refreshing day.
So if we can’t count on the weather forecast, we have no choice but to think of a way to make it snow ourselves.
Tsukasa: Please do not involve me in this. Why do you even want it to snow in the first place, Leader? If it snows, the temperature will decrease.
It should be a less desirable situation for you, since you’re weak to the cold. So, why?
Leo: I made a promise to make a snowman with Mittsu.
Tsukasa: Mittsu…? You said that name earlier as well. What sort of person is this Mittsu-san?
Leo: I think he’s in the same class as you. His name’s Mitsuru, but I like Mittsu better~♪
Tsukasa: Ahh, you mean Tenma-kun. It seems you’ve made friends with him at some point.
Leo: At some point? More like this morning! If it doesn’t snow, then I dunno if I can keep that promise~
Besides, in snowy weather we can make a snowman, but we can also have a snowball fight, you know?
Our last one just ended with you throwing a single snowball at me, right?
Since we have the chance, let’s invite Mittsu and have a fight! I won’t lose to you kids yet~♪
Tsukasa: Really, now? When I threw that snowball at you, I was not playing around.
I had told you that we were meeting in the studio, so when I when I saw you idling about, I could not help it.
Anyhow, I understand the situation now. However, we are not God, and we cannot control the weather at will.
We must wait patiently until it begins to snow again.
Leo: Even a dog could wait! Come on, that’s not it~ put more dreams into it!
Stupid ideas are fine too. Even if we can’t actually do it, that feeling of “I wish it could happen” is very important.
Don’t just look at reality, use your imagination too. You’re lacking in childishness, Suo~
Tsukasa: What does it matter? Excuse me for repeating it so many times, but I am not a child.
Leo: Ngh~ you’re not cute at all. Learn more from me – I haven’t forgotten my childish heart, you know~?
Tsukasa: That is easy for you to say. You are much more of a childish person than I am, honestly.
